Senior Reining Horse, the 1993 NRHA Open Reserve World Champion, and in 2004 was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame. He was also the 1993 Congress NRHA Open Champion, 1991 Congress Open Cutting Champion, Open Champion at the 1993 NRHA Derby, tied 3rd in the 1989 NCHA Open Super Stakes, was the 1990 The Non-Pro Open Cutting Co-Champion, 5th in the 1990 Bonanza Open Classic, top 10 in the 1990 NCHA Open Finals, and was Open Reining & Cutting winner at a multitude of stock shows and show circuits.
2018 AQHA Hall of Fame Stallion, NRHA Hall of Fame, NRCHA Hall of Fame – SMART CHIC OLENA was the 1995 #5 Leading Reining Sire with only 2 crops to show, and moved up to #2 Leading Reining Sire in 1996 with only 3 crops showing. He became the #1 Leading Reining & Reined Cow Horse Sire in 1998 & 1999, and was the 1999 NRHA #1 Leading Sire. From 2008-2021 he was an NRHA Top 5 All-Time Leading Sire. From 2012-2021 he was an NRCHA Top 5 All-Time Leading Sire. Today SMART CHIC OLENA is currently the QData & NRCHA #5 All-Time Leading RCH Sire, the QData #6 All-Time Leading Reining Sire, and the NRHA #5 All-Time Leading Sire. He is also the AQHA #1 All-Time Leading Sire of Reining Point-Earners; QData #2 All-Time Leading Sire of Ranch Riding Money-Earners; AQHA #2 All-Time Leading Sire of RCH Point-Earners; and a QData Top 5 All-Time Leading Sire of Ranch Horse Money-Earners.
